MATCH PREVIEW: HAYES & YEADING UNITED vs CHELMSFORD CITY

Saturday brings Conference South football to the York Road stadium in the show of Hayes & Yeading against Chelmsford.

Last Saturday, Chelmsford were able to sneak their way into the play-offs by beating Eastbourne in a tight game 3-2 where the Clarets faithful saw Jason Williams score an injury-time winner to push us into the play-offs.

Hayes & Yeading currently play at a ground-share stadium with Maidenhead United as their new stadium, The Sharda Glass Community Stadium, is still under construction.

Chelmsford are wanting to continue their run of three wins on the trot in the Vanarama South by beating a lowly-placed Hayes & Yeading.

Hayes & Yeading however, are on a poor run of 5 loses in their last five games including a 3-0 loss to now league-leaders Boreham Wood.

The last time Chelmsford played Hayes & Yeading was in November 2014 which saw the sides play out a 1-1 draw in the Skrill South.
